UNIFORM FOR BALLET EXAMINATIONS
Jewellery and make-up are not permitted.
Candidates to be well presented, this is taken into account on their overall mark.
Class Exam / Prelim / Grade 1
Black Sleeveless Leotard (Please ensure underwear is well hidden or no underwear during exam)
Black Chiffon ballet skirt
Pink ballet tights
Pink ballet shoes with elastics – tabs pulled tight tied and tucked in.
Grade 2 and Above
Black Sleeveless Leotard.
Pink ballet shoes with ribbons.
Option 2
White tshirt / white leotard
Black cycling shorts
Plain white ankle socks
Black ballet shoes with elastics
Hair tidy off face
FOR ALL GRADES
Hair must be in a classical bun. NO FRINGES.
White ribbon to decorate only.
UNIFORM FOR MODERN EXAMINATIONS
Jewellery and make-up are not permitted.
Hair must be in a neat restrained style e.g. French Plait. A bun or pony tail are not suitable as pupils have to lay on the floor.
Candidates to be well presented, this is taken into account on their overall mark.

Grade 1 and Above
As above but black jazz shoes may be worn rather than ballet shoes & can be split sole

UNIFORM FOR TAP EXAMINATIONS
Hair must be in a neat restrained style e.g. French Plait or pony tail.

UNIFORM FOR CONTEMPORARY EXAMINATIONS
Hair neatly tied back and fringes secured off the face.
Knee pads are acceptable for the technical exercises involving kneeling as required.
No jewellery. Piercings removed and tattoos covered.
Plain black leotard, footless black tights/leggings
OR
A plain black or white short 3/4 sleeved t-shirt, black dance trousers that are above the heel and foot.
Dancers may perform with bare feet, however foot thongs are recommended to provide support to the ball of the foot.
Grade 6
Make-up can be worn, please apply a natural toned stage make-up with the emphasis on opening the eyes and highlighting the cheekbones.
UNIFORM FOR MUSICAL THEATRE EXAMINATIONS
Hair should be neatly tied away from the face and/or character specific desired.
No jewellery to be worn, tattoos should be covered. Piercings removed.
Black leggings, school logo t-shirt
Black jazz shoes
Grade 4+
Make-up can be worn. Please apply naturally toned stage make-up with the emphasis on opening the eyes and highlighting the cheekbones.
